Fixture of local music scenes, Alpine grad
Jeff Cowell passed away after a short illness on May 7, 2026. Born in Alpine on August 1, 1959, he was a graduate of the Alpine High School Class of 1977 and a fixture of both the Austin and Alpine music scenes.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Joanna and Lee Cowell, both of Alpine. He is survived by his three siblings: Stephen, Shanna, and Lacie Cowell.
