Registration is now open for the TXD Regional Roundtable in Alpine, July 9 through 10, located in the breathtaking Texas Mountain Trail region of West Texas.
Join fellow downtown professionals, community development champions, preservation leaders, heritage tourism partners and small business advocates for two days of educational sessions, networking, walking tours, and immersive downtown experiences designed specifically for communities working to strengthen and revitalize their downtowns.
This TXD Regional Roundtable includes:
• Strategies for maximizing marketing budgets through cooperative advertising partnerships
• Preservation program guidance and Certified Local Government opportunities from the Texas Historical Commission
• Lessons from the successful transformation of Terlingua Ghost Town into an internationally recognized tourism destination
• Public art, placemaking, mural funding, and cultural tourism strategies communities can implement locally
• Guided walking tours of Alpine’s historic downtown, murals, galleries, and community assets
• Networking opportunities with downtown professionals and leaders from across Texas
