
The 15th annual Viva Big Bend music festival kicks off Thursday, July 23, with more than 65 performances through Sunday in Alpine, Marfa, Marathon, Terlingua, Presidio and Fort Davis. Additionally, there will be special events like street parties, barbecue tailgates and special shows for VIP ticket holders.
For the full schedule, tickets, certain age/dog restrictions and logistics, see vivabigbend.com. Popular performers like Patrice Pike and Bob Scheider will perform as well as local favorites like Doug Moreland, The Doodlin Hogwallops and Bidi Bidi Banda — a total of about 44 performers in all.
