Pride Marfa has unveiled the complete talent roster and detailed schedule for its fifth annual celebration, returning September 11–13. The high-desert festival brings a full weekend of contemporary art, live performance, film, nightlife and community programming to venues across Marfa.
Organized by a grassroots collective of local organizers and volunteers, this year’s festival highlights the power of queer culture in West Texas through an expansive lineup of regional and visiting creators.
The 2026 talent roster features performances and appearances by BabiDoll, Circe, HYPERFEMME, jewels, Khloe Kaliente, Amarji King, p1nkstar, Louisianna Purchase, Salem Purchase and XQZ ME.
Friday, September 11
Festivities kick off Friday morning with an all-ages screen-printing workshop held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Chinati Foundation (1 Calvary Row). Attendees are encouraged to bring their own T-shirts, tote bags, or other items to screen print with custom motifs celebrating queerness in West Texas.
The festival’s Community Art Walk features a curated trail of special art exhibitions hosting receptions and viewing hours throughout Pride Marfa weekend.
¿Tierra y Que? (310 W. San Antonio St.): Artist Diego Mireles Duran presents Phosphene Fantasy Box, on view September 4 – 18. The exhibition is organized by Prepney, Mateo Galindo and Zade Williamson.
New Star Gallery (301 West Dallas St.): Artist Amina Cruz presents Blessings From the Three: Tortillerias, Jotos and Potaxies, which opens Thursday, September 10 with a reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and remains on view through September. 12. The exhibition is organized by Prepney, Romi Gold and Zade Williamson.
Marfa Book Co. (300 S. Kelly St.): Tom of Finland: The Kake Years. The exhibition is organized by Justin Almquist.
MAINTENANT (1820 Rabbits Rd.): Survey 002 highlights selected works following an open call. Featured artists include Marissa Aurora, Cody Barber, Michael Carnes, Jorge Concha, Lauren Jablonski, Jax Le Baron-Widmar, Alonzo Pantoja and Mark So, with additional participating artists to be announced.
Do Right Hall (110 W. Dallas St.): Artist Lisa Chestnut presents F-BOMBS + HARD PILLS TO SWALLOW, open to visitors from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Rule Gallery (204 E. San Antonio St.): Artist Prepney presents a special selection of artworks.
Marfa Public Library (115 E. Oak St., ages 18+): Two Friday afternoon film screenings at 2 p.m. The lineup includes Tia Chuck: A Portrait of Chuck Ramirez (directed by Walley Films: Angela Walley and Mark Walley), and El Paso Dolls (directed by Elliot Davis).
Friday night concludes with Disco 2000, a club kid-themed dance party at Planet Marfa (200 S. Abbot St., ages 21+). Doors open at 7 p.m.
Saturday, September 12
Saturday’s programming begins with a continuation of the Community Art Walk exhibitions presented in various galleries throughout Marfa that opened on Friday. Please refer to the schedule above for full details.
Afternoon programming at MAINTENANT (1820 Rabbits Rd., ages 18+), begins with a special performance by artist P1nkstar titled, Serenity Prayer #2 from her ILOVEYOU performance series. MAINTENANT will conclude with a 4 p.m. program hosting De Texas Para El Mundo, Baby! — a live panel moderated by p1nkstar, with BabiDoll, HYPERFEMME and Louisianna Purchase.
Saturday night will conclude with Rodeo Kink, a themed dance party at the Capri (603 W. San Antonio St., ages 21+). Doors open at 8 p.m.
Sunday, September 13
Sunday festivities begin with Drag Brunch at 11:30 a.m. at Mutual Friends Coffee (110 E. El Paso St., ages 21+).
The festival wraps up with Pool Hangs, a poolside dance party taking place at The Pool at Hotel Saint George (205 E. El Paso St., ages 21+). Doors open at 2:30 p.m. and run through pool closing hours.
