FORT DAVIS — Everyone is welcome to attend a special presentation at the Jeff Davis County Library on Saturday, October 17, at 2 p.m. highlighting wildfire and emergency preparedness.
The workshop will feature the elements of a “firewise community,” how to prepare our homes for possible wildfires, as well as the components of a “go-bag,” and planning ahead for what to do or where to meet in emergency situations.
This free program will be presented by members of the Fort Davis Volunteer Fire Department and EMS along with the Firewise Team of the Davis Mountain Resort. For questions, please phone the library at (432) 426 3802.
