Saul Ramirez, 74, beloved husband and father, was called to his eternal resting place on August 8, 2020. He entered this world on October 7, 1945 in Presidio, born to Theodoro Ramirez and Jesus Ramirez. He was self-employed doing water wells for 40 years, loved to cook his famous “tripitas” and asado, and loved to work on his own garden at home where he grew vegetables. Saul had many friends who loved hanging out with him.

Saul is survived by his wife, Jessie Lara Ramirez; brother Daniel Ramirez and sister Maria De La Luz Reyes; his daughters, Diana Lara, Debra Reyes and Mini Madrid; and sons Robert Lara and Richard Franco. He has 15 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.

The visitation took place Tuesday, August 11 and Wednesday, August 12, 2020. A Rosary was held at 2 p.m. at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel, at 607 W. 3rd in Pecos, Texas. Graveside services will be held Thursday August 13, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.

The pallbearers are Richard Franco, Jeremy Lara, Johnny Madrid, Joe Reyes, Robert Lara, Larry Paredez, Reggie Lozano, Ivan Paredez, and Augustine Paredez as Honorary Pallbearer.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, all services are for immediate family only, and visitation is limited to 40 persons of the immediate family. At the graveside services, the church requires social distancing and only 10 members of the immediate family to be under the tent and asks all other family members to social distance until after the services have concluded.
