Jose Alfonso H. Molinar, 73, of Presidio, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, peacefully at Focused Care Nursing Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. He was born in Presidio to the late Luisa Hinojos and Alberto Molinar. Jose worked as store manager at Winn’s and then Family Dollar for many years until retiring
In his early years he was a member of the Lion’s Club, Rifle Association and was involved within his community. He loved his community and hometown of Presidio.
Jose was preceded in death by his father, Humberto Hernandez; mother, Luisa Hinojos; sister, Rosaura; brothers, Alberto Molinar, Jesus Molinar, Ruben Molinar; grandson Jason Orosco; and son Cristian Molinar.
He is survived by his wife, Cristina G. Molinar; Cristina’s son, Carlos Guzman; his son Jose Alfonso M. Molinar; his daughter Rosaura M. Cubas; his son Steve Molinar; his grandchildren
Shawn Molinar, Jose Molinar Jr., Christopher Arreola, Luis Molinar, Jasmin Arreola, Juan Molinar, Ariana Arreola; his great-grandson, Luis Molinar.
Mass will be held at Santa Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on April 20, 2024. The family wishes to thank Eternity Funeral Home and Focused Care Nursing Home in Fort Stockton.
