I had to adapt to the new environment. I did my best to learn Spanish, and successfuly did with the help of my newfound friends. Throughout my high school year, I was involved in the National Honor Society, National Technical Honors Society, Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering, STEAM, and Presidio Rocketry and Robotics. I was enrolled in both UTPB and TSTC college courses. After high school, I will be attending the University of Texas at Austin to study mechanical engineering. I hope to one day design rockets that fly to Mars and improve how we use our renewable resources.
