Adan M. Covos, 58, of Presidio, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021, in Houston, Texas.
Adan was born in Marfa, Texas, on June 17, 1962, to Oscar Vargas Covos and Evangelina Mendoza. He attended Presidio ISD. He married the love of his life, Irene Hernandez, on June 15, 1985, in Presidio, Texas. Adan worked for the Texas Department of Transportation as a maintenance tech and was a dedicated family man who always had a smile.
Adan is preceded in death by his mother, Evangelina Mendoza Covos.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Hernandez Covos; sons Albert Covos and Adan Jr. (Brenda) Covos; grandchildren Kayla Covos, Sabrina Grace Covos and Jason Adan Covos; in-laws Mr. Carlos Manuel and Ernestina Hernandez; siblings Luis (Gloria) Covos, Manuel (Olivia) Covos, Oscar Jr. (Armida) Covos, Martha Covos, Norma (Rene) Molinar and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Fernando Sanchez, Jose Bustamante, Oscar Covos III, Eric Covos, Marty Martinez, Pedro Hernandez, Esequiel Bustamante and Elias Jordan.
Rosary was held on Friday, January 8, 2021, at 11:30 a.m. with Mass at noon at St. Teresa de Jesus Catholic Church with Father Mike officiating. Burial followed at Desert Hills Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to Willowbrook Funeral Home of Midland under Director Nancy Olvera.
