Your 6/29 coverage of the Brite Ranch legal battle was outstanding. Mary Cantrell and Allegra Hobbs went beyond the legal update to put a complicated story in well researched historical context. (I think Lonn Taylor would be pleased.)
A story like this underscores the unique value of a local newspaper, something Marfa is fortunate to have as so many others around the country are forced to shut down.
