BREWSTER COUNTY –– Brewster County District Clerk Sarah Martinez announced last week a major improvement for Brewster County residents: court case information from the district courts is now accessible online at www.idocket.com, via iDocket’s Ruby product. This move is expected to significantly reduce wait times and phone calls for residents seeking court information.
“By partnering with iDocket’s Ruby system, we’re offering our community a convenient and efficient way to access court information,” Martinez said. “This online resource will not only save residents time, but it’s also projected to reduce customer service calls by an estimated 20%, freeing up valuable staff resources to focus on other important tasks.”
Currently, 86 counties and 147 county and district clerks across the state of Texas participate in iDocket’s online Ruby database, including Presidio, Val Verde, Terrell and Culberson counties. iDocket is adding other counties to its Ruby database on a regular basis.
This new service offers access to court information 24 hours a day, seven days a week for attorneys who practice in the district courts of Brewster County, as well as any other individuals and entities that require this information, such as bail bondsmen and the general public.
The service offers monthly subscriptions, including a free version for limited searches with tokens available for purchase to view the actual court documents. Martinez added that the public can still go to her Brewster County Courthouse office to search for cases and purchase documents at the county rate of $1 a page.
