With profound admiration, we celebrate the life of Wanda Fisher, a shining star in Sanderson, Texas, whose tireless volunteer work and charitable endeavors inspired countless lives.

She worked hard as an engineer. She cherished her community, her beloved animals, and her devoted family. As a grand marshal, Wanda illuminated many parades, especially the Halloween festivities, where she transformed into “Wicked Wanda,” educating children on safety during trick-or-treating. A gifted softball player and multi-medal Senior Olympian, Wanda’s remarkable spirit continues to uplift and motivate.

Though she will be deeply missed by her family and the entire Sanderson community, her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will forever be etched in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Wanda; your impact will never be forgotten.
