FORT DAVIS — Webb’s Fair & Square presents paintings by Ezekiel Gibbs and music on the porch by Ralph White this Sunday June 29 from 4 to 7 p.m. The gallery is located in the historic Masonic hall at 105 N. Front St. Music will begin at 5:30 p.m.

Houston native Ezekiel Gibbs started painting in his 90s and documented his life up until his passing in 1992 at the age of 103. His paintings are filled with family, self reflection, garden, farm animals and symbols of a happy life.

Ralph White, previously of the Bad Livers, will perform Sunday in Fort Davis. Photo courtesy of Julie Webb.

Ralph White was a defining member of the contemporary experimental bluegrass band the Bad Livers. The musician first met Bruce and Julie Webb many years ago in Austin. He will perform a solo show in Fort Davis, marking the end of a tour before heading back home to Oracle, Arizona. White performs with a striking voice and various instruments including the kalimba, the banjo and the saw — all mesmerizing as he keeps time with his swinging foot and the stomp of his boot.
